MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES

1. Members

PetPAC is a cooperative group of pet industry businesses and non profit organizations. Members within PetPAC
represent, first and foremost, their own business and secondly, their business sector within the pet
industry. Competing businesses are welcome because they can help define and sharpen us. Our
philosophy is one of abundance – that there is enough business for all.

Each individual company maintains the membership position. Therefore, the member company decides
who will represent them at PetPAC meetings. The membership is not limited to one person. Many
from one company may take part in meetings, networking, and programs.

All of the members will complete and keep on file a member information form.

Each membership is a member in good standing. Termination of membership shall occur by written
resignation from the member company or by PetPAC Governing Board decision.

2. Prospective Members

PetPAC is open to all pet-related businesses; the prospective member must:

a) maintain a pet-related business (not an affiliated business, for example…Company X is a
printing company that does the printing for PetPAC membership)
b) be professionally organized, licensed, and insured (where needed)
c) demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service
d) have experience and a demonstrable 6-month track record and history of their current business
e) appreciate and respect the networking ideals of PetPAC
